Methane Bubbles
To illustrate an example of the combustion reaction, a common demonstration is Methane Bubbles. This simple demonstration requires liquid soap, water and methane gas. Since Methane is lighter than air it will float up with the bubbles in the in the soapy water. Once the mixture is set on fire the reaction occurs.
